sex therapy

Sex therapy provides a structured space to examine desire, intimacy, identity, and relational dynamics with clarity rather than urgency. Sex therapy is effective for both individuals and couples.

Many of the adults I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet notice recurring patterns around sexuality that feel confusing, misaligned, or difficult to shift without deeper exploration. With over 16 years of professional experience in sexual health and 6 years in full-time clinical practice, I offer clinically grounded, affirming sex therapy that integrates education, narrative work, and practical communication tools.

Sex therapy work addresses individuals and partners navigating:
  • desire discrepancies
  • gender exploration
  • ethical non-monogamy
  • sexual pain or avoidance
  • kink dynamics and power exchange
  • relational conflict connected to intimacy

Sex therapy is talk therapy. There is no physical touch between client and therapist.

who this work is for

Sex therapy is not limited to crisis. It is also appropriate for adults who want to better understand their erotic template, strengthen communication, and develop a more intentional relationship with pleasure and connection.

I work with adults of all sexual orientations and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+, consensually non-monogamous, kink-involved, and monogamous clients seeking specialized support around sexuality and intimacy.

Sex therapy clients often reach out when:
  • opening a relationship has created jealousy or instability
  • a partner is questioning or transitioning gender
  • sexual pain or avoidance is affecting intimacy
  • kink dynamics feel confusing, shame-based, or misaligned
  • desire has diminished and conversations escalate quickly
  • religious or cultural messaging is impacting sexual self-worth
