educational presentations

I have provided sexual health presentations since 2002 when I served as a wellness peer educator at Virginia Tech. I am also certified in teaching the Our Whole Lives comprehensive sexual education curriculum through the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to middle school and high school students. Over the years at UGA I regularly led professional presentations to young adults and healthcare providers, along with conference presentations at the regional and national level. Honestly, my favorite part of my job at UGA was public speaking, but doing condom demonstrations at frat houses wasn't necessarily a long-term career path. I absolutely love facilitating group workshops, professional in-service trainings, and sexual health competency refreshers. I am also happy to include pre-test needs assessments and consultations prior to program implementation, in addition to post-test surveys to measure program impact.
